If you've ever tried water marbling you know it requires a lot of dedication. There are several factors in water marbling that can make or break your design. E.g. Too hot/cold water, bad polish, and don't even get me started with taping off your nails. In this tutorial I'll show you how you can easily achieve the same look as a water marble mani minus the water.

I. Start off with a base color. I'm using 'Dreamy' by Mosi Mei.
II. Flood a second color of polish onto your nail. Flood basically means apply A LOT. More than enough. This is one of the key steps towards a successful drag.
III. Quickly apply a second color. You can do this in any manner. The results will vary based on this factor.
IV. Now grab a tiny brush (or toothpick, needle, etc.) and drag the first color through the second. You have to be quick, as a clean marble requires wet polish. If you notice your drags aren't smooth, dip your tool of choice into some polish remover. This should aid the resistance.
V. Let it dry and apply a layer of top coat to smooth out uneven surfaces!
That's it! This technique has many different outcomes! Try it with different colors. Drag in reverse directions for a tie dye effect. It's quite a fun way to play with polish!
